Tai Chi is an ancient internal martial art form which today is mostly taught for its many health benefits. Its slow, deliberate movements engage and unite both body and mind. Service Canada
Programs for Seniors
The Service Canada outreach team will provide a presentation on benefits and programs. We will review benefits available through the Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security, including survivor benefits and impacts of changes in income or living situation. We will also take a look at the Canada Dental Care Plan, which offers coverage to those who don’t have access to private dental insurance. Finally we will learn about caregiver benefits that are available through EI. You will be able to share what you learned about benefits taking time off work to look after a loved one whose health has significantly changed and needs support.
