Tai Chi

Registration begins September 1

Details

Tai Chi (Taiji) is an ancient internal martial art form which today is mostly taught for its many health benefits. Its slow, deliberate movements engage and unite both body and mind. With regular practice you can improve balance, concentration, coordination, memory, bone density, blood pressure and leg strength.

You will learn movements with names such as Parting Wild Horse’s Mane, Carry Tiger to Mountain, Wave Hands Like Clouds, Grasp Bird’s Tail that will not only conjure up beautiful images in your mind but also will allow your body, mind and spirit to enter into a deep and quiet place.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring soft soled indoor shoes. No scents please. It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of class.
