SCHEDULE: Thursday, September 28, 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM LOCATION: Online via Zoom ABOUT THE PRESENTER: With over 35 years as a professional communicator, brand-builder and organizational storyteller, Tom Douglis is a recognized strategic architect of award-winning brand programs for local, national and global organizations. He has been the Principal of Douglis Group Brand Consultancy since 2014, serving his clients across North America. He has also held senior positions in major brand consultancies in Toronto, New York and Denver starting in 1994, with earlier work in journalism, advertising and public relations. Tom is also an expert on Olympic image-building. He has worked in the Olympic Movement, including heading media relations for the 1992 USA Hockey Pre-Olympic Tour and working on the 2008 Toronto Olympic Bid. He wrote his MBA Dissertation on The Olympic Brand: Identity, Image and Applications. In addition, he has attended 12 different Olympic Games since 1992. Tom earned his MBA (with highest honours) from the University of Westminster in London and his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Denver. He also completed advanced journalism coursework at Harvard University. He has also taught at conferences, adult learning organizations and universities in the USA, Canada and Europe.
