Registration begins September 1

Details

Generative AI tools like ChatGPT are becoming part of everyday life, but many people are still wondering what they are, how they work, and whether they are actually useful. In this two-part introductory workshop, participants will get a friendly, practical tour of ChatGPT and the world of generative AI. We’ll explore what ChatGPT can do, where it can be helpful, where it can go wrong, and how to use it thoughtfully without feeling overwhelmed.

The sessions will include live demonstrations, simple examples, and plenty of plain-language explanation. We’ll look at how ChatGPT can help with learning, writing, planning, creativity, hobbies, travel, family history, recipes, and everyday problem-solving. We’ll also discuss important cautions, including privacy, misinformation, scams, and why your own judgment still matters.
