About the Event

Ever heard a singer weave melodies with playful syllables like "doo-be-doo-wop"? That's scat singing, a thrilling art form where the voice becomes an instrument! This course takes you on a historical journey, exploring how scat evolved from early jazz to today's vibrant scene. We'll delve into scatting, vocal improvisation, and vocalise techniques, showing how these styles shaped jazz and continue to inspire.
