PRESENTER
Dr. Heather Barkman has dedicated her academic career to exploring the lives of women in early Christianity. Holding degrees from both the University of Manitoba and the University of Ottawa, including a PhD in her specialised field, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her teaching positions in Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Manitoba. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Barkman finds joy in cheering on her favourite baseball team, embarking on new adventures with her family, and creating lasting memories with her husband Sid and their two children.
