Join us for a stimulating gathering where curiosity meets community. This interactive space offers the opportunity to delve into a wide range of intriguing topics, from the arts and sciences to history and beyond.

• No prior knowledge required. Whether you're a seasoned expert or simply seeking a new perspective, your active participation is the key. Our sessions are designed to foster engaging, open-ended conversations that spark curiosity and challenge your thinking.
• Prompts for deeper discussion: Before each session, we'll provide a series of thought-provoking questions and background information to guide our conversation.
• Bring your own topic: If we exhaust the prompts, feel free to introduce a topic that interests you.
• A supportive atmosphere: Our goal is to create a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable expressing their ideas and learning from others.

FACILITATOR

Harvey Zahn is an educator with 40+ years of experience in the public-school system. He has also taught courses at the University of Manitoba and at the University of Winnipeg on Curriculum Design and acted as a Faculty Advisor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba. Harvey has published a trade book “Teaching in The Calm Zone.” He is curious and a lay student of everything with a particular interest in challenging conversation.
